10 Days Luxury Safari To See Great Migration Crossing

After breakfast, we will start the safari from Arusha to Tarangire National Park. Tarangire National Park is famous for its dense wildlife population, which is most spectacular between June and September, the dry period. During this time thousands of animals- wildebeest, buffalo, and Oryx migrate from the dry Maasai steeple to the Tarangire River looking for water. Lions, leopards and other predators follow the herds. Tarangire is home to over 500 varieties of birds. Have lunch and take a late afternoon game viewing and drive to the lodge for dinner and overnight at Tarangire Lake Burunge Tented Lodge.

After breakfast we drive on a tarmac road 20km with a lunch box to Lake Manyara National Park for afternoon game drives. Start the game drive through an underground water forest, proceed to Acacia woodland savanna open land, pass by a hot water spring, and proceed to Lake Manyara. Lake Manyara is home for many flamingos and other water birds. The park is home to tree climbing lions, hippo, elephant, zebra, buffalo, giraffe, baboon, blue and velvet monkey, warthog, and more. About 350 species of birds have been recorded here. You will have a picnic lunch, dinner, and overnight at Hurt and Soul.

After early breakfast we leave for Serengeti National Park, driving through Ngorongoro conservation area, with the option of visiting Olduvai Gorge (known as cradle of mankind the hominids dating 2millions years back). The game drive takes us to the vast Serengeti plains home of the big game animals, the predators, great migration and the Nile crocodiles.06:30pm At sunset you are driven for dinner and overnight  Serengeti Intimate Places Tented Camp.

After breakfast we start a day with the morning game drives in Serengeti National Park marveling at the stunning scenery, ever changing light and always entertaining wildlife, all explained to you by your expert guide With the optional picnic or hot lunch at 12:30am. And after lunch we set off again for afternoon game drives that take us till sunset 06:30PM. when we drive to the Camp for dinner and overnight at Seronera Wildlife Lodge.

After breakfast follows a morning and afternoon game drive in the park. In the afternoon, we will continue with game viewing to the north east of the park. This is the LOBO area where the main path of the Serengeti Wildebeest migration has passed. Dinner and overnight is at Northern Serengeti Zebra Tented Camp.

Today you will leave after breakfast and with lunch packet you will drive as you follow the migrations paths depending on the location. We will spend the day following the great migration of about 1.5 millions Wildebeests and 500,000 Zebras migrating through the Serengeti Ecosystem. Dangers are everywhere and packs of lions, cheetahs and other carnivores are everywhere waiting for the right moment to strike. Crocodiles in the Serengeti river have no mercy as the herds cross the river. Thousands are swept by the arrogant waters and the scenes are amazing. Later in the early evening you will drive for dinner and overnight at Northern Serengeti Zebra Tented Camp.

After breakfast, depart from Serengeti Ngorongoro Crater Rim. Wake up for early morning game drives in Serengeti then head back to the campsite for breakfast. You will then check out and drive with lunch and game viewing en route to Ngorongoro Crater rim for dinner and overnight in Ngorongoro Rhino Lodge.

Wake up early in the morning for breakfast and then descend into the crater floor for game drives. All the big five (rhino, lion, buffalo, and elephant) live in this wonderful caldera. Others that live here are zebra, hippo, wildebeest, hyena, and more. Birds include flamingos on the Soda lake, geese, storks, vultures, and more. Your lunch will be served in the picnic site in the Crater at Ngoitoktok swamp, a Hippo pool. After lunch, continue with late afternoon game drives, then drive back to Arusha dinner and overnight at Arusha Outpost Lodge.

You will start your journey after breakfast. Our driver will wait for you in the Hotel to transport you to the Londorossi route and drive up to 3000m. Then you will start trekking for 600m and back for 600m where you leave a car and ascend down. The drive will take approximately 2 to 3hours to reach the Londorossi Gate, on the west side of Kilimanjaro. Some of the d is on main roads, however, parts of the road are unfinished, dirt roads, with bumpy terrain! The Londorossi Gate is located at 2,250m. In the rainforest, look for towering Eucalyptus trees, birdlife, and Colobus monkeys. After lunch, hike back to the park gate and drive back to the Airport
